As Midcoast Conservancy’s Communications and Engagement Manager, Ali’s focus is on her two favorite things: people and writing. 

Ali is likely to be the first person you see if you walk into the office, or talk to if you call. She manages the website, social media and publications, and works on event planning for the organization. Ali worked at Poets & Writers in New York City, as the editor of Maine in Print at Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance, as a therapeutic horseback riding instructor, coaching crew and was a foster parent for many years. When not at work she tries to be outside hiking, paddling, sailing, snowshoeing or camping with her husband Ken, three dogs, and whichever of her five kids is around. She majored in Creative Writing and Religious Studies at Brown University.
