Zoe grew up in Vermont where her parents ran a children’s summer camp, instilling in her a love of the outdoors and a passion for outdoor education. After working as an environmental educator for several years, Zoe found her way to Maine for graduate school, completing a Masters in American and New England studies from the University of Southern Maine. Today Zoe spends her time surrounded by a gaggle of wild children while venturing out on cross-country skis, hiking local trails, swimming in the Sheepscot River, or leading Outing Club for Whitefield Elementary School. She lives in Whitefield with her husband, three children, two dogs, two cats and nine chickens.
