Join Joe Roy, MDIFW Private Lands Biologist, Jared Gregory, Maine Forest Service District Forester, and Tim Libby, Midcoast Conservancy Forest and Lands Manager in our demonstration forest at the Hidden Valley Nature Center for a workshop for landowners and land managers focused on the benefits of dead wood in our forests.
The workshop will focus on forest management planning for wildlife, types of habitat provided by dead wood, the relationship to carbon storage, and actions landowners and land managers can perform on their own.
Registration is free but required.
