Have you ever wondered what lingers under the surface of a quiet maine pond? Do you love rooting around in the mud? Bring the whole family and let’s explore the edges of our very own Haybale Pond to find some teeny tiny inhabitants. We will spend time in and around the pond collecting a variety of water creatures (macroinvertebrates-animals without a backbone that can be seen without the help of a microscope) and learning to identify what we find! The Mayhem will be organized by environmental educator and americorps volunteer, Melanie Collins.
