Bug Safari

  • Geele Preserve 828 Gross Neck Road Waldoboro, ME, 04572 United States (map)

Bring the family and come search for and celebrate "The little things that run the world" on our Bug Safari. We use the term 'bug' loosely as we will examine and explore anything that we can catch and release. We will visit several different ecosystems at the Geele Preserve and get up close and personal with the little inhabitants. The Bug Safari will be led by entomologist, naturalist and farmer, John Hayden. Please register for this FREE event below!

About Our Naturalist Series

Come and join our wonderful volunteer naturalists as they take us on a journey through our woods and waters looking for those little things we often race right over. We  will examine ferns and trees, find the bugs in the mud and on the wing and just spend some time in the great outdoors.

These events will happen on the first or second Saturday of every month from 10am to 12pm. Register at the link below and come on out to join us in the woods!
