We are pleased to partner with the Knox and Lincoln County Soil and water Conservation District to offer a program on pruning techniques needed to keep your apple trees productive. Cheryl Denz, owner and operator of Terra Optima Farm and Landscaping in Appleton will teach this popular class!
Whether you have a small home orchard or one old tree that feeds the deer, this workshop will teach you the basic pruning techniques needed to keep your trees alive - and bearing fruit.
Location: This event is at our Trout Brook Preserve. Parking is available at Trout Brook parking area and additionally along the road at the end of the RR line. A staff person will be present to help parking. Then a 6 min ⅓ mile walk up the Alna road to the field entrance of the Sheepscot River front portion of the preserve.
